Flower: Daisy

Colors: Black and Gold

Chapter Name: Delta Chi

Motto: "A sound Mind in a Sound Body"

Insignia: Badge is a shield of black displaying the Greek letters in gold. The jeweled pin is the shield surrounded by 14 pearls to represent the founders. The pledge button is a winged foot, symbolic of the profession.

Foundation: Phi Epsilon Kappa was founded on April 12, 1913 at Normal College of the American Gymnastic Union, Indianapolis, Indiana.

First Pledge Class: Consisted of 14 members.

Limitations: Was limited to males until 1975.

First Pledge Class at Truman State University: October, 1997

Requirement to Join: 12 credit hours at Truman State University

                                2.5 or above GPA.

Requirement to Remain a Member: 2+ service events per semester

                                                      75% attendance at the meetings

                                                      Pay all financial requirements (dues/fines)
